Ryan Recruitment recently held two successful workshops addressing one of the most challenging aspects of leadership: performance management.
With Kiwis ranking among the lowest in the OECD for performance management, our session aimed to tackle this issue head-on by helping leaders build better relationships and improve team performance through effective conversations.
Led by our HR Specialist, John Eatwell, a Chartered Organisational Psychologist with over 20 years of experience, the workshop covered why difficult conversations are often avoided, unexpected reactions when raising issues, and practical strategies to improve performance while strengthening relationships.
Held at Tūranga Library, the sessions on 7 August and 25 September 2024 saw great participation, with leaders from various industries joining us to gain valuable insights and tools.
